What do you mean, you “Do Voices?”
I remember being about 10 years old and watching ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ for the first time… Completely captivated by Robin Williams’ performance and how brilliantly he portrayed all those different character voices, I don’t think I moved, blinked or even breathed for the entire film. I then proceeded to drive my family insane all summer by shouting “Help is on the way deeear!” and mimicking absolutely everyone on TV from David Attenborough to Moira Stewart to the Gladiators whistleblowing guy.
The ‘doing voices’ seed was well and truly sewn and I knew that this was what I wanted to do.
I didn’t realise at the time just how vast the pool of opportunities are in the voiceover industry and it isn’t just for voicing cartoon characters!
I’m lucky enough to have worked with a diverse range of brands, big and small, from voicing TUI commercials and cryptocurrency explainers to internal corporate video narration for Balfour Beatty and Holland & Barrett. I’ve also narrated documentaries, animations, E-Learning modules and virtual assistant projects. You get the idea…If something requires a voice, that’s where I come in!
I’m also experienced in audio editing. I’ll clean up your sound files, put audio to video and add music or special effects.
In a nutshell, I’ll give you the right sound you’re after for your project, to engage and inspire your audience.
